Some days

There are some days when, no matter how well intentioned I am, nothing gets done that should get done. Problem is that I'm having too many of them at the moment and I'm not sure what to do about it.........I'm tempted here to say "if anything"! But then the growing pile of ironing will soon swamp the bath and tumble onto the floor. (We do have more than one bathroom for those of you who may be wondering if we have personal hygiene issues!) I did promise myself a couple of days ago that I wouldn't use the washing machine until I've caught up with this ironing mountain but.......it's so much easier to wash than iron. I'm beginning to become obsessed by it, it's constantly on my mind. So, now I will close the laptop, turn on the iron and....... but wait it's lunchtime..... sigh

No words

Hmmm

I'm not usually lost for words. If there aren't any posted it usually means that the photos are what I want to say. For the past few days I have been finding it difficult to verbalize (is that really a REAL word - yep, I just looked it up) My thoughts have been going in so many directions that speech has been difficult. I must try to get my brain to slow down a little.
The trip to France was a great success with lots more exploring as well as revisiting old favourites. The street market at St. Brieuc is wonderful. It was good to see long queues at several vegetable stalls and then realise that they were the "organic" ones. The town is definitely one of two parts - the inner core of old town and the much more modern surroundings. Though we have been there on several occasions this is the first time that we have found the old market square. I think another trip is on the cards as it is so very interesting. I found this in Wikipedia:

Saint Brioc (Welsh: Briog ; also known in French as Brieuc, in Breton as Brieg, and in Cornwall as Breock) was an early 6th century Welshman who became the first Abbot of Saint-Brieuc in Brittany. He is one of the seven founder saints of Brittany.

Lot's to be learned I think...........

Only a few

I should be very busy as we are off to France tomorrow but as usual I am leaving everything to the last minute. I have, at least, an idea in my mind of what to pack. Thanks to Lottie packing is much easier - one dress instead of top & bottom is much quicker to sort out. Though as I have no idea of the weather over there I shall be taking far too much, to cover all eventualities.
For those of you who haven't met Lottie do try to take a look: http://lottieloves.com/
